Even though we posted an article on AeroCoin just yesterday, the developers have made an interesting post which deserves some attention if you ask me. Let’s find out what they had to say in regards to AeroCoin and AeroME.
A few of the many AeroCoin specifications were provided by the developers, in order to give us a better understanding of what they are working on, and how it will be implemented. Most of these things have to do with W3C , ECMA and XSS guidelines though. For a full list, click here.
What everyone is most interested in, is when we can finally expect the release of AeroME. Well, we can’t give you that, as no official date will be available until everything is thoroughly tested and perfectly ready for launch.
As the AERO team made the small mistake of giving people exact release dates about earlier features such as the anonymity system, they do prefer to stay away from that approach. This is a bit of a double-edged sword however.
I do appreciate the fact there is no hype about a specific date, on which we may or may not see a finished product. However, with the cryptocurrency and altcoin community being fickle as they are, a lot of people will look at this as incompetence to deliver on promises.
Personally, I think it’s the right decision to prioritize development over community relations. However, maybe a community manager or something similar would bridge the gap a bit. We will see what happens, and I can’t wait until AeroME is released!
