It has been a while since last received an update from the CannabisCoin team in regards to how things are going lately. After the debacle with the so-called pre-mine funds, the CANN price took a hit on the exchanges and has still not recovered ever since. Progress is being made behind the scenes though, so let’s take a look!
Herbal Wellness Center
Talks between Herbal Wellness Center and the CannabisCoin team are still going on as we speak. We are still awaiting full details on what these talks are about exactly, but we can tell you the HWC members are still monitoring the benefits of accepting CANN as a payment method.
The Herbal Wellness Center is also keeping a close eye on certain risks when accepting non-fiat currency payments, but the CANN team is working hard to make everyone happy. All in all, both parties are drawing up maintainable goals, and more details will be announced shortly.
CANNdy from the CANN team
Winter is coming (no, not a Game of Thrones reference) and as a result of that, plant cycles are being shifted and the growing facility needs to be winterized. This entire process will take up quite a bit of precious time, but it will be more than worth the efforts.
The “Mother” CANNdy plants have been established and set aside in VEG state. For those of you who are unaware of what this means : vegatative state means the plant is busy carrying out photosynthesis and accumulating resources in order to flower and reproduce.
Speaking of reproduction, CANNdy baby clones are ready to go as we speak. The first small pre-batch is currently flowering and will be undergoing necessary testing. The involved plants are being moved and prepared as of this writing.
The list of growers keeps expanding, and the latest addition to this list brings a wealth of experience to the team. The CannabisCoin team is drawing up plans together with this latest grower for a self-funded co-op grow operation in Northern Arizona.
Said grow operation would make use of the latest technologies in order to maximize efficiency and provide a good yield. All state requirements for this cooperation have been met, and the plan will be set in motion during the upcoming winter season.
A new CANN server will be added to the farm in the near future, and web wallets for non-Android users and patients are being tested as of this moment. More details about these web wallets will be announced soon, so we will keep an eye out for that information.
Development work on the QT client is progress nicely as well, and the developers are actively looking at new features to implement for CannabisCoin users.
As a side note, there are no further events planned right now.
