So many mobile bitcoin wallets to choose from, and we are still looking at one that will suit my personal needs. Even though some fantastic candidates have been reviewed already, you just never know what the next mobile Bitcoin wallet might bring to the table. Keeping that train of thought in mind, let’s take a look at SpectroCoin Bitcoin Wallet!
SpectroCoin – The All-in-one Bitcoin Solution
Most of our readers have probably never heard of SpectroCoin before, even though we recently did an article on their progress regarding Bitcoin in the Baltic states. But have no fear, as we will quickly recap what this company does and why they think their services can become invaluable to Bitcoin users worldwide.
Providing quick and easy access to Bitcoin users worldwide is the mission objective of plenty of companies, yet this is not such an easy task. SpectroCoin allows users to buy and sell Bitcoin in exchange for fiat currency, and transactions are executed on the fly. Any transaction will be processed within mere minutes.
On top of that, SpectroCoin also want to make it easy for people to spend Bitcoin at everyday locations. To do so, a Bitcoin debit card is offered to customers, which can be topped up with BTC at any given time. Any ATM or retailer accepting credit card payments will also accept your SpectroCoin Debit Card, as it operates on the same technology.
Last but not least, there is the SpectroCoin Bitcoin Wallet, which is what this article is all about to begin with. Unlike most other mobile Bitcoin wallets, this application is also available for Windows Phone users, as well as iOS and Android users and all of the aforementioned features are packed into this mobile application as well.
What is most interesting – in my opinion – about the SpectroCoin mobile Bitcoin wallet is that you can buy and sell Bitcoin with fiat currency from your device itself. To use that feature, you will need to create and verify your SpectroCoin account though. But once that process has been completed, converting between fiat currency and Bitcoin can be done wherever you are.
Other than that, SpectroCoin’s mobile Bitcoin Wallet offers the typical features you would come to expect by now. The Bitcoin price – in EUR- is presented in a beautiful, simple and elegant chart. It seems fair to assume they use their internal exchange rate to display the current BTC/EUR price though.
All in all, the SpectroCoin mobile Bitcoin Wallet looks simple to use and offers interesting features for users in the European Union. And with their recent progress made in the Baltic states, this could be a company worth keeping an eye on in the future.
