The Cleverhash team has been busy answering a lot of questions from the cryptocurrency community over the past few days, and it looks like their ICO is going well so far. They even managed to find some time in order to update us in regards to the Dual Core X15 ASIC. Let’s take a look at what is under the hood of these devices!
As you should all know by now from reading our previous Cleverhash articles , which can be found here and here, they are offering the world’s first X11/X13/X15 ASIC miner. We also know their miners are using a 28nm ASIC chip, of which each can provide upto 300MH/s of mining power.
What most of us didn’t know, is that each of these 28nm ASIC chips only draws 80 Watts of electricity, which is incredibly power efficient when taking the hahspower into consideration. You have to realize this is the power of nearly 100 GPU’s combined into one chip, drawing 98% less power compared to getting the same hashpower with your 100 GPU’s.
The Dual Core X15 ASIC is powered by two X15 cores, providing users with the highest performance for the lowest energy consumption available on the market. Plus, these X15 cores also allow for the mining of X11 and X13 coins, giving customers plenty of options to earn their ROI at a fast rate.
Thanks to the Advance Crypto Currency Algorithm, both of these X15 cores are supported on an independent basis, with each core implementing optimized X11/X13/X15 algorithms. Each algorithms also comes with its very own Low Latency implementation, further benefiting the consumer.
These Dual Core X15 ASIC miners come packed with some miscellaneous features as well, such as eFuse for ASIC configuration. Host Interface using SPI, Hash Controller Block and Thermal Sending Diodes are the other miscellaneous features.
