We have mentioned Cryptcoin in the past a few times, and most of what we have mentioned was rather dubious unfortunately. With the developer potentially having ties to a notorious altcoin pump-and-dump group, and no further development after said pump, things were looking quite grim. However, CRYPT has been revived with a brand new team behind the coin, so let’s take a look at what their plans are!
A lot of you might wonder why anyone would want to revive a coin with such a dubious history, or even why it took so long for people to take action. First of all, the name Cryptcoin is rather catchy, and according to the new team, it would be shame to let it go to waste. While there is a certain merit to that statement, it still remains a double edged sword if you ask me.
The plan is to make Cryptcoin the open sourced developer coin in the cryptocurrency scene. With the help of the CRYPT community, which has stayed rather strong during all of the hardship, the time has come to take this digital currency to the next level and help everyone make back their original investments.
The history of Cryptcoin will not be overlooked, at all, as the new team vows never to lose sight of that. All of the CRYPT Github accounts, Bitcointalk developer account , as well as access to the server, email and website have been handed over to the new people in charge. This should speed up the revival process quite a bit.
It is interesting to note that most of the people making up the new Cryptcoin team are people who got burned by the previous developers. This puts the revival of this coin in a new light, so it will be interesting to see what will happen in the near future.
Whereas Cryptcoin used to be labelled as “THE’ anonymous solution for cryptocurrency, the new team wants to make the revived CRYPT “THE” coin bringing the altcoin community together. While this has been attempted by different coins in the past, none of those efforts have actually succeeded yet. Kudos to the new team for giving it a try though, it just might work this time, you never know in the world of digital currency.
