So I was asked by some people to do a new article about QuarkBar. I’ve done an article about this coin quite some time ago, and not much news has been announced ever since. Apparently, the community has taken over the Crypto.
Let’s recap on what exactly QuarkBar is before we go any further, as I know not all of you have read the article I just mentioned. QuarkBar is a very rare and secure Crypto, and there was no pre-mine, which makes it even more rare.
CPU mining has been overlooked for a while now, but QuarkBar really focuses on reviving CPU mining. Now, coders wouldn’t be smart people if they hadn’t found a way to circumvent this, and thus a GPU miner thread also exists on BitcoinTalk, which you can find here.
Since the community takeover on April 28th (with 89% approval rating, mind you), QuarkBar has seen some major improvements and updates. For example, Quarkbar was the first ever Crypto to integrate Dark Gravity Wave V3, causing a hard fork at block 232,500.
The reason for this community takeover is because the original QuarkBar developer went missing without so much as a trace. This takeover also resulted in a value increase, as QuarkBar went from 60 Satoshi to 800 Satoshi in about a month. Keeping in mind there are only 15.5 million coins in total, this price is expected to rise even further in the near future.
This community takeover has other positive effects as well. Each and every decision about Quarkbar, big or small, is made with the community in total control. Everyone can voice his or her opinion, and everyone is heard.
A little known fact is that QuarkBar was the first focus coin of the CRF (Crypto Revival Foundation). This Foundation is made up of Crypto experts and developers who concentrate on reviving and promoting coins which show promise and a strong community.
Given the fact the original QuarkBar developer abandoned the project for no good or obvious reason, QuarkBar became the focal point for the CRF. With their help, we are at this point in time today, so kudos to them.
As far as the exchanges go, QuarkBar can currently be traded at ShareXCoin, AllCoin and CryptoAltEx. More exchanges are being looked at, but we have no further details about the progress as of this writing.
What we can tell you, is the fact that QuarkBar can be traded aginst the US Dollar directly, on the Qex.la exchange as of today. Make sure to check out the Qex.la exchange by clicking here, and while you’re there, why not pick up some QB?
