One of the hardest working teams in the world of cryptocurrency and altcoins seems to go by unnoticed by pretty much everyone in this Crypto world of ours. Not because the announcements aren’t interesting though, but I can’t exactly tell you why. GroestlCoin has gone through another round of announcements and improvements, so let’s take a look!
In our previous GroestlCoin article, which was well over a month ago so I do assume we are partly to blame as well for what I just said, we talked about their progress in regards to merchant adoption and services. You might wonder how they could top those feats, and the answer is simple : by working hard.
A series of Youtube videos have been uploaded, teaching people how to pronounce GroestlCoin the right way. Even though you can argue there are multiple ways of pronunciation, there are also multiple Youtube videos in this series. They are very entertaining to watch, and you should really check them out.
In order to bring more attention to GroestlCoin, an interview was conducted. The focal point of this interview is the GroestlSend feature, which is the transaction anonymity feature for GroestlCoin. You can find the interview here.
Having GroesltCoin on a lot of different faucets is also a good way to get more adoption and recognition for your altcoin. GRS has been added to Multifaucet, Altcoinfaucet, Altcoinix faucet and Coinia’s faucet, among others. I don’t know any of them personally, but these additions can only be a good thing in my book.
An interesting announcement was made on July 22nd, as GroesltCoin was originally intended to go PoW/PoS at some point, thanks to MindFox. However, the PoS change was dropped because, after doing some research, it simply was not the right time, nor was it a requirement for GroestlCoin to become more successful. You can read the full announcement here.
The end of July also marked the launch of the first ever GroestlCoin p2pool, which was followed by a second and third p2pool shortly after. Even though we all like our regular pools, p2pools are valuable to the network, and are pretty reliable when it comes to payouts.
August 1st was the day when the new GroestlCoin team was announced and introduced. A new social media manager , forum admin and community manager were introduced. A new developer team was recruited as well, and these fine folks will be spearheading the future development of GroestlCoin. You can find that announcement here.
More translations are never a bad thing, and the GroestlCoin announcement thread is now translated to Dutch, Italian, French, Arabic Polish and a handful of other languages. All of these threads can be found in the respective language subforums on BitcoinTalk.
A lot more things were announced over the past few weeks, and you might want to check out the full list of announcements here.
