For the sake of argument let's say Mr. Wright is Satoshi. How would he react: a) if few in the community believe him and most bad-mouth him and; b) he is not happy with the course his baby is taking (being taken on) and; c) he wants to re-direct the course without opening the can of worms of claiming (again) that he is Satoshi? Filing patents, or showing he can, might be one way. Let's see what stuff he files. Whether the patents are granted or not is almost beside the point (and seemingly unlikely anyway).

It's a popular belief that Satoshi (real or fiction) is actually dead. Craig Wright wants to be Satoshi. He might want to be careful what he wishes for, especially when there's around $20 billion worth of other peoples' energies floating around directly connected to that dream.

Etherdelta is a cool project. its slow as the eth block chain is and can be frustrating but it proves a good point, you can actually code an entire exchange on the block chain.. kind of remarkable actually. think about the possibilities.
