One of the latest hot Cryptos floating around is called KoreCoin. After some issues with miner’s wallets missing coins all of a sudden, but refunding them from the original pre-mine,they scored major brownie points with the community. So what makes KoreCoin so special?
Kore(Coin) has been in development for quite some time before it was actually released to the public on June 15th. This was done in order to guarantee a smooth and successful launch for everyone involved.
Kore(Coin) is also combating some of the issues several recently released coins are struggling with to overcome. Last but not least, the base of development is to create features which the community members want to see.
While there will only be 1,2 million KORE mined during the X13 Proof-of-Work phase, we will see a steady 10% inflation during Proof-of-Stake. The coin supply cap is set at 12 million KORE, which should take quite a few years to reach. The minimum coin age is 1 hour, while the maximum coin age is 8 hours. Both are considerably shorter than what we have seen so far.
Kore(Coin) had a pre-mine, and this is what makes this coin truly interesting. Because of some forking in the early days, all of the pre-mined coins have been used to refund the miners who lost their coins. A very noble gesture by the development team if you ask me!
All of the current and future KORE development is being paid from the developer’s own pockets, but they are accepting donations in both Bitcoin and KORE. For more information about where to send your donations to, click here.
A second revision of the Kore(Coin) Whitepaper is available, and can be found here. Anonymity features will be available from June 27th forward, so we will keep an eye out for official information around that date.
Exchanges-wise, Kore(Coin) can be found on the following exchanges : BitTrex, Crypteon and BlockTrade. No official word on whether or not there will be other exchanges adding this Crypto soon, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there would be one or two doing so very soon.
