Even though this isn’t actual news, I thought it would be a good time to refresh everyone’s memory on what the plans for Minerals are in the near future. As there are still a few people wondering , we might as well explain it, right?
Now, if you have been keeping a remotely close eye on Minerals, you will know all about their live betting platform. In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, you might want to read up on this article first.
The Minerals Stream Betting platform will need further testing of course, but the idea to have this generate 100% “passive” income for both streamers and their fanbase. But how do you promote such a platform?
Very simple : every stream owner promotes it themselves in a way, as it is in their best interests to get as many bets going as possible. They do get 5% revenue from the winning pool, whether it’s them actually winning or not.
On the other hand , we have the Minerals Tournament Betting platform. This platform will allow third parties to host betting sessions for tournaments, by using a manually controllable interface. This might be a bit harder to sell, or is it?
The Minerals developer team is promoting this feature heavily, by organizing and sponsoring tournaments. The current plan involves Starcraft II player Crayon, as he is well-known in the Esports industry.
As the Minerals Stream Betting platform will be done after a small DNS issue gets fixed, this will be the focal point of the Minerals promotion for now. The entire MIN community should reach out to more streamers and try to get as many people interested as possible.
The Minerals Tournament Betting still has quite some bugs which need to be worked out, and this will take a bit of time. Once everything is taken care of, it won’t be much longer until we see the first betting tournament being held.
