Just like we announced a few days ago,the Munne Project open alpha testing would take place starting this week. There is no better way to kick off your Monday by paying a mafia-based browser game where you get to practice at the shooting range, extort people and try to pull of a crime job, right?
While Munne Project is only in alpha testing for now, the game does look and feel great. The graphics are outstanding, especially for a “simple” browser game. Users can travel across a total of four different maps during this test, and basic tasks (fighting, shooting, bribing) as well as completing quests are enabled.
Once a player “evolves” far enough in the game, they are able to create their very own crime family, keep a diary on your shady activities, and many more other (undisclosed) features. The Munne currency will be implemented in the game at a later stage.
The main goal of running an open alpha test for Munne Project is to gather as much player feedback as possible. Not just in regards to potential bugs that might pop up, but to improve the overall user experience as well. Speaking of any bugs you might encounter, please report them to MChrono via PM on BitcoinTalk. (direct link to his profile).
Suggestions, feedback, tips and anything else you think is valuable to the evolution of Munne Project can be posted in this thread on BitcoinTalk. As the game has not been tested by many people playing at the same time, it will be interested for the MNE team to see how the servers and code hold up during this open alpha test.
Some modules of the Munne Project, such as the ability to travel to other cities or creating your very own crime family, still need to be finished. Once the game has been tested thoroughly, and all additional modules and features are implemented, Munne will become the official in-game currency.
Note from the author : I will do my very best to play this game this evening for a few hours and write up a review at some point this week.
