Over the past week or so, we have referenced to a new project called the Opal Marketplace which is set to launch very soon. The original release date was pushed back a few days ago in order to fix some security issues, but there is some good news as well!
After the Opal Marketplace press release was published, which you can find here, the development team was forced to postpone the release for a few days. After all, they only want to deliver stable projects which work 100%, and not something that is only half finished.
The Opal Marketplace website is being patched for security purposes as we speak, and the full release is expected very soon. Furthermore, it is possible for users to pre-register their account today, which means you can start selling goods and/or services once the marketplace launches. To create an account, click here.
Do keep in mind it is possible to buy and sell both physical and digital goods and services on the Opal Marketplace in exchange for OPAL. Next to the marketplace, the other priority for the OPAL team is releasing the secure file sharing feature.
Speaking of OPAL’s file sharing feature, a more detailed whitepaper including more technical information will be released at some point over the coming days. As always, we will keep an eye out for any updates and keep our readers informed accordingly.
