One of the latest released coins, which caught my attention because i saw it being added to IPOMiner’s Scrypt multiport, is Quatloo. Considering this is a Scrypt coin, we might as well take a look, as they are becoming more and more rare these days!
Quatloo is a fork of Litecoin, based on source 8.7.1. The name Quatloo might ring a bell with Sci-fi fans, as the digital currency is named after The Providers of Triskelion. If you’re still confused, it’s a reference to Star Trek : The Next Generation. For more information, click here.
The development team wants to stress they are very serious about making Quatloo a success, as this is not another half-hearted Sci-fi currency. We will see DNS seed nodes , as well as hard-coded nodes to support the network at all times.
Quatloo comes with a pre-mine, which is less than 1%. If you want to know the exact percentage, it’s 0,8505%, which will be used for supporting the coin, handing out bounties, et cetera et cetera.
