It has been a long while since we have last received an official development update from the Stealthcoin team. As they are working on several new QT-client features, which are all time consuming, there is no real need to hype things before completion. However, some information has been provided to us, so let’s take a look at that.
Most of us cryptocurrency enthusiasts heard about the new XST client, which has been in development for a while now. We can now report the development is still going on as of this writing, and the final touches on the layout are being done as we speak.
The other part of the ongoing development is being spent on mandatory functionalities within the QT client. No official word yet on what these functionalities entail, or whether or not there are additional functionalities coming to Stealthcoin.
We did manage to get one piece of confirmation in regards to the upcoming XST client though, and that is concerning the release date. Some rumours were being spread about a potential wallet release this week. Unfortunately for the Stealthcoin community, that will not be the case, and there is no official ETA for the new client as of this writing.
More rumours surfaced in regards to the Stealthcoin team potentially working on a StealthSend video. While there have been talks amongst the XST team about doing a video down the line, that remains just an idea for now, and nothing more.
Finally, some funds (36016 XST) has been taken from the pre-mine, and purchased at the last trading value of 0.00002721 Bitcoin per Stealthcoin. After some quick calculations, this added up to US$330, which will be used to fund the completion of the upcoming wallet. In total, the new wallet costs US$850 in order to complete.
