As announced little over a day ago, there is now a SysCoin Public Release Candidate Program. The main idea behind this Program is to gather as much community feedback as possible before releasing a new SYS client version . Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
The upcoming SysCoin client release, which is version 0.1.5 is ready to be distributed, but the team wants to make it better, which is where feedback plays a pivotal role. All feedback is collected on the SysCoin Forums, and you can find the thread here.
If you are interested in submitting your feedback, there is a 48-hour window in effect in order to do so. Within 12 hours of Release Candidate feedback closing, the product version of version 0.1.5 will be released to the public.
As I’m well aware, a lot of our readers will be interested in what kind of updates we can expect from this new SysCoin client release. A lot more GUI features are available which could previously only be accessed through the console, thus enhancing the overall user experience.
Remember wallet addresses is a pain in the neck, but SysCoin users won’t have to worry about that anymore! User aliases, linked to a valid SYS address, can be used not only to send money to, but also interchangeably with any SysCoin command requiring a valid SYS address.
In the new client, there will also be an overview called “My Aliases”. In this tab, you can easily create , copy , edit and transfer new and existing aliases. Updates to existing aliases will take 1 block to appear, and newly created aliases can take up to 120 blocks to appear.
