The time is almost upon us to kick off the Bitfilm Festival 2015, which will once again start in Berlin. Similar to last year’s event, there will be various short and long films competing in this festival and viewers will be able to vote on the movie they like best by sending Bitcoin donations to a specific address.

Bitcoin is slowly making its appearance on the big screen, with several documentaries being produced and released. The most well-known one is “The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin” , which is now available through video-on-demand. The BitFilm festival is having a special “Bitcoin Movies” showcase this year, taking place in four separate locations.
2014 Marks the 14th edition of the BitFilm festival, which showcases films using digital technology in a creative and innovative way. Some of their presentations have included the best 3D and 2D animations, as well as Machinima films.
