The long awaited Digitalcoin V3 is upon us ladies and gentlemen, and it brings a lot of changes to this digital currency. Multiple mining algorithms are supported as of this release, new features have been added to the client, and a hard fork will be occurring. Time to take a look!
The hard fork on the Digitalcoin blockchain has to do with the support for multiple mining algorithms. Once block 1,028,000 is reached, miners can choose to mine using Scrypt (as it is right now), SHA or X11. In order to switch to one of the newly supported algorithms, make sure to edit your Digitalcoin.conf file as instructed here.
