Bitcoin ordinal NFTs are the trending asset on the bitcoin network, with more than 500,000 NFTs minted recently. These unique digital assets have taken over the crypto community, with creators switching from popular blockchains like Ethereum to mint their NFTs on the Bitcoin network. 

More Than 500,000 Ordinal NFTs Minted In Two Months 

At the time of writing, 520,200 NFT ordinals have been minted on the bitcoin network in the last two months, according to data from Dune Analysis. This growth is remarkable, considering less than 50,000 NFTs were minted just five weeks ago.  Read more...

Next FOMC Will Set The Stage For Bitcoin And Crypto For Entire Year

The Bitcoin and crypto market could be headed for another sideways trend until March 22.

QCP Capital, a leading digital asset trading firm in Asia based in Singapore, has released a new market analysis related to the current macroeconomic environment, calling the next Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) on the 22nd of this month the most important of the entire year.

As the trading firm explains, this week has been a quiet one in terms of major macro data releases. Instead of providing clear answers, a spokesperson for the company deferred queries to CEO mark Zuckerberg’s statement during its 3rd Quarter Earnings Call.

Bitcoin (BTC) Will Keep On Rising In Next 6 Months, This Venture Capitalist Predicts

Bitcoin, after seven weeks of repeated failed attempts, finally managed to move past the $ 21,000 price threshold.

According to tracking from Coingecko, at the time of this writing, the maiden crypto is trading at $ 21,392 after going up by 5% over the last 24 hours.

Crypto Exchange Zipmex Meets Thai Regulators To Discuss Next Steps Of Recovery

Crypto exchange Zipmex has planned to meet with the Thailand Securities Exchange Commission along with other regulators to discuss the recovery plan. Zipmex had recently submitted a letter which will request to schedule meetings with the security regulators.

This meeting shall also include the crypto firm’s potential investors. The exchange had suspended the withdrawals in the month of July due to a financial crisis. A meeting that involves Thailand’s SEC and investors of Zipmex is important before a funding deal is finalized.

Minnesota Fed Chair Says Recession Is Inevitable, What’s Next?

One of the crypto winter catalysts was the Federal Reserve’s announcement of a rate increase to curb inflation, taking the country towards a recession. As soon as the information reached the crypto community, investors and traders started a panic sell-off that plummeted crypto prices.

Crypto Exchange Zipmex Goes Bankrupt – Who’s Next To Fall?

After weeks of rumors, cryptocurrency exchange Zipmex said that it had filed for bankruptcy protection in Singapore in response to mounting legal threats from creditors.

The Thailand-based crypto exchange is reported to have more than $ 50 million in exposure to Babel Finance and Celsius, crypto lenders that have severely been battered from the turmoil plaguing the crypto markets.

Babel halted withdrawals at the middle of last month in response to liquidity pressures caused by overleveraged crypto businesses such Three Arrows Capital and Celsius Network.
