It has been a while since we last checked in with WhiteCoin to see what they have been up to lately. Luckily for us, they keep a very nice overview in this thread on BItcoinTalk. The time has come to introduce the world to WhiteOS Release 0.2.0.

WhiteOS is a full-fledged linux operating system, based on Ubuntu version 14.04LTS. By adding additional and unique anonymity features into this custom Ubuntu environment, users can experience real, portable, secure and anonymous cold storage for WhiteCoin. Whitecoin Foundation Partners Up With DandyID & Claim.io

Big things are about to happen for Whitecoin and its community, as some very interesting partnerships have been made. As a result, a lot of new features and services will be coming to Whitecoin, such as verification levels, social media verification, name registration on the blockchain and much more!

WhiteCoin Client Update, Known User Transactions Project Announced

It has been a while since we checked in with the WhiteCoin team, but it looks like it was worth the wait. As a lot of people love a good underdog story, you won’t need to look any further than WhiteCoin. A new wallet has been released, so let’s see what has changed!

This release is version 1.1.0.0 of the WhiteCoin client, and looks completely different from any previous client versions. A welcome overhaul though, as everything appears to be more streamlined now, and it just feels “nicer” to use.  Read more...

The announcement about WhiteOutCoin was made by the WhiteCoin Foundation yesterday on BitcoinTalk. User Privacy Protection Features will be implemented, in order to ensure people’s funds and wallets are safe.

WhiteCoin Foundation Registration Progress, Net Hashrate Nearly Tripled

It has been a while since we heard anything from the WhiteCoin team. The last news we received was they were looking into registering the WhiteCoin Foundation legally in Canada, so let’s check in to see how that’s going!

MastiffCoin Coin Recycler Public Beta Is Live!

After the long wait, MastiffCoin has finally released the public beta of their infamous Coin Recycler. The MAST Coin Recycler allows you to exchange other Cryptos to MastiffCoin. Let’s see how the beta is going!

MastiffCoin Coin Recycler Alpha Released

Let’s check back in the MastiffCoin team to see how things are going since they released a new wallet to speed up their blockchain. We also have an update on their Coin Recycler, as an alpha version has been released.

From what we can gather, the mandatory client update seems to be working according to plan, as the MastiffCoin blockchain is moving along  a lot quicker now. Time in between blocks is currently roughly 1 minute, down from over 150 seconds.  Read more...

It has been a while since we posted some more updates in regards to WhiteCoin. I guess it’s time to take a look at what those folks have been up to. The efforts just keep on getting better and better though.

DreamCoin : New Developmental Team , Community Rallies To Keep Project Going

It has been a while since there were some new developments coming from DreamCoin. That has a pretty good reason apparently, as the original developer has deleted the coin source code, block explorers and a bunch of other things.

I’m starting to see a trend forming here, where people “create” (I’m using this term very loosely) a new Crypto , spread it out, cash in and then tell the rest to “fudge off”. While this an interesting way to make some quick money, it’s not the way we want Crypto to go.  Read more...

Non-Mandattory WhiteCoin Client Update Released

As we have mentioned a few days ago, a new WhiteCoin client update was coming soon. Even though the update isn’t available to Windows users just yet, it is available for Mac OS X and Linux users.

As a reminder, the aforementioned WhiteCoin client update is not mandatory, as it’s mostly cosmetic changes that are being implemented. Although I’m sure most of you would like to know when exactly your coins will be staking.

In other WhiteCoin news, it looks like the coin is taking another major hit in price across all exchanges. This is not completely unexpected, as most cryptocurrencies are losing ground over the past 24 hours.  Read more...

New WhiteCoin Client Update Imminent , More Features Being Added

It appears there is another WhiteCoin client update on the horizon. Not to fix any major bugs or anything like that, but to add some more features as requested by the WhiteCoin community. This update is not mandatory.

The first feature that will be added, is called Advanced Coin Control, which will let users choose which blocks they want to tranfer for optimized staking. More control over your own coins is never a bad thing in my book.  Read more...

Cryptsy Enables WhiteCoin Withdrawals Again, Value Increases

There is more good news to report on this dreadful Monday here in Belgium, as Cryptsy, the world’s biggest altcoin exchange, have re-enabled WhiteCoin withdrawals. And it’s about damn time they do so as well!

Cryptsy had said from the beginning that, once the new WhiteCoin client was complete, they would review the code and enable the trading market again, for both deposits and withdrawals. However, it took them a few weeks in order to get things sorted.  Read more...
