VeriCoin have released their roadmap, showing off some of the plans for the very near future, as well as longer-term plans. VeriBit and VeriSend are a lot closer than we might think, and even the dates below might be moved up!
SHort-term plans for VeriCoin include having public profiles online for all VeriCoin developers on June 22nd. We will finally be able to put a name next to those IRC nicknames, and it’s another step towards transparency, which can only be a good thing.
The day after, June 23rd, VeriBit will be released to donors. If you can’t remember what Veribit is or does, VeriBit will be a VeriCoin to Bitcoin payment portal. I’m very interested to see how this will work exactly, and how easy it will be to implement.
Two days later, on June 25th, we will see VeriBit released to the public. Hopefully for VeriCoin, a lot of people will use the VeriBit portal in the near future, but we will keep our readers updated in regards to this situation.
June 28th, which is only a week from today, we will see a new VeriCoin wallet released, with both VeriBit and VeriSend integrated. It’s going to be a very busy week for the VeriCoin community, that’s for sure!
In July, we can expect a professionally designed wallet with a flat UI. And somewhere between all of this, there will be a VeriCoin to fiat exchange partner. If the team can delivery on all of these promises, it will be a major boost for VRC.
