Now that we have established you can do quite a lot of interesting things with Bitcoin – ranging from paying bills to buying cigarettes and gift cards – let’s take a look at what else you can do with this currency. If you are a fan of legal streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu or Crunchyroll, you are in luck, as paying in Bitcoin can score you quite the bargain.
Streaming Service Accounts for Bitcoin
Before we go any further, there is something I should tell you first. These accounts come at very cheap prices and are either brute forced accounts or shared accounts. Whichever they are, you are obtaining legitimate access to these platforms in any case. But that does not mean your account will remain valid for the rest of your life. Always purchase with caution.
One of the most commonly sold items for Bitcoin is an account to one of the many popular streaming services. Whether you want to watch some Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, WWE Network, UFC Fight Pass, NHL Network, NBA League Pass, Crunchyroll….You name it, and someone will be able to sell you a cheap working account.
The origin of these accounts is rather hard to retrace, but suffice to say that – given the price you pay for the account – they are in a “grey zone” at best. However, that does not mean the actual account owner – should he or she be unaware of you using his or her account – will ever complain about it.
Account sharing has become somewhat of a trend these days. Especially when it comes to popular streaming services such as Amazon and Hulu+, which let you set up multiple devices per account to use. And what about Spotify, the world’s leading music streaming service? They have special plans for multiple users under the same account as well.
Finding a reliable source for your streaming account needs is a whole different story though. Granted, there are several people selling these accounts on the Bitcointalk forums, but most of them have little to no reputation there. Even though we are only talking about a handful of Dollars per account, you still want to err on the side of caution.
An0nym0us on BitcoinTalk – Rapid Delivery
I have used multiple sellers in the past, yet hardly any of them seem to stick around for longer than a few months. In my quest to find a new – and reputable – source for accounts, I stumbled across this post on the Bitcointalk forums. One of the things that caught my attention was that the seller has several accounts available for AutoBuy, which means you won’t have to contact him/her through PM on the forums to get the account.
In my case, I was desperately looking for a Hulu+ account to start watching some shows I’ve missed and can’t be bothered to download. Granted, Hulu+ is not that expensive of a service – US$7.99 a month – but you can’t buy it with a Belgian credit card. Plus I also have to pay for my VPN – which I gladly do for Netflix, BBC Iplayer and a list of other purposes – but obtaining a Hulu+ gift code at a premium price is not part of the plan.
So I ended up buying my Hulu+ account for US$4 , which worked perfectly and was delivered within minutes after sending the Bitcoin payment. As a matter of fact, I’ll start watching Vikings Season 1 on it once I finish this article. Plus, all of the accounts sold by An0nym0us come with a lifetime warranty, so they will be replaced if they ever become unusable.
An0nym0us is offering quite a lot of different streaming accounts in exchange for Bitcoin, all of which are priced very fairly. Xfinity streaming accounts, WWE/UFC accounts and even HBO Go are just a few of the examples you can purchase with Bitcoin for a very modest price.
In a future article, we will look at other reputable sellers for these types of accounts.
