So XC finally released their new wallet client, which feature anonymous transactions, a feature plenty of people are looking for these days. There is also an XC Mission Statement, which was recently published. Let’s take a look, shall we?
After announcing the anonymous features over a week ago, the updated XC client is finally here. The way these transactions are anonymized, is through the Coin Mixing feature, which we have seen in coins like StableCoin before.
This is made possible thanks to the implementation of the REV2 code, supporting a decentralized and learning trust system. This system is not only anonymous, but it also offers protection against various attack vectors.
More features will follow over the coming days weeks. Features include an encrypted messaging service, encrypted IRC style communications, and support for new applications. More information will be released shortly, and we will keep you updated on that front.
There will also be a separate cost analysis in regards to integrating XC as a Point-of-Sale system, and maybe even allow for XC transactions in Crypto ATMs. It will be interesting to see if this ever takes place or not, but we will find out soon.
Xnode has also been integrated into the updated XC client, but testing hasn’t completed as of yet. From what I can gather, this testing phase should be wrapped up later today. A tutorial on how to set this up will be released in the next 48 hours.
More future plans for XC were revealed as well. For a full list, you can click here.
