After we posted our zenMINER update yesterday afternoon, some people felt like we didn’t do a good job. Apparently it is customary for zenMINER to pay out only 12 hours of mining (or less) on day one. A lesson learnt, but I doubt most new zenMINER customers would know that, so it’s a valuable experience for all of us.
Either way, another payment was sent out today, so let’s see how things are looking after a full payout of mining with 10 MH/s. I’m definitely pleased with the increased earnings and the massively shortened ROI period compared to yesterday’s calculations.
With 10 MH/s of Scrypt mining power, our payout was 0.00840896 Bitcoin over 24 hours of mining. Do keep in mind there is a service fee of 0.00208720 Bitcoin to be deducted, so our net earnings total up to 0.00632176 Bitcoin.
Granted, this number might not seem to be as exciting as we would all have liked. However, with the Bitcoin price dipping below $400 again, your mining earnings are suffering as well. All in all, if we can keep these earnings steady, achieving a ROI will take roughly 82 days.
Another update will be posted tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that!
